Quick Veg Manchurian with Veg noodles Recipe for Family Night

🥕 Ingredients

For Veg Manchurian Balls:

1 cup grated cabbage

½ cup grated carrot

2 tbsp finely chopped capsicum

2 tbsp cornflour

2 tbsp maida (all-purpose flour)

1 tsp ginger-garlic paste

Salt to taste

Oil for frying

For Manchurian Gravy:

1 tbsp oil

1 tsp chopped garlic

1 tsp chopped ginger

1 small onion (chopped)

1 tbsp soy sauce

1 tbsp tomato ketchup

1 tsp chili sauce

1 tsp vinegar

1 tbsp cornflour (mixed in ¼ cup water)

1½ cups water

Spring onions for garnish

For Noodles:

1 packet noodles (boiled)

(Please note: I took whole wheat noodles)

1 tbsp oil

1 tsp chopped garlic

½ cup sliced vegetables (carrot, capsicum, cabbage)

1 tbsp soy sauce

Salt & pepper to taste

👩‍🍳 How to Make Veg Manchurian

Step 1: Prepare the Balls

In a bowl, mix cabbage, carrot, capsicum, cornflour, maida, ginger-garlic paste, and salt.

Form small balls without adding water.

Deep fry until golden brown and crispy.

Step 2: Make the Gravy

Heat oil in a pan. Add garlic, ginger, and onion. Sauté well.

Add soy sauce, ketchup, chili sauce, and vinegar.

Pour water and let it boil.

Add cornflour slurry to thicken the gravy.

Add fried balls and cook for 2–3 minutes.

Step 3: Prepare Noodles

Heat oil in a wok.

Add garlic and vegetables. Stir fry on high flame.

Add boiled noodles, soy sauce, salt, and pepper. Toss well.

Serve hot with spring onions on top.
